The purpose of United Methodist Men is to declare the centrality of Christ in every man's life, to promote the spiritual growth of men through effective discipleship, and to model the servant leadership of Christ in our daily lives.
Our ministry promotes fellowship, opportunities for service, and spiritual growth among men in the church. Some of our activities include monthly Saturday breakfasts, golf outings, serving meals for church activities, mission fund-raisers, Habitat for Humanity, Sweetheart Dinner, Society of St. Andrew Potato Project, a trip to a baseball game, various work projects at camp or at church, etc.
- UMM meets every 2nd Saturday of the month September through May
- All Saturday meetings are at 8:00 AM at Mr. Beans in Marion.
Other events include the Handbell/Soup dinner in December, the Puppet Show/Spaghetti dinner in the early Spring, baseball outing in the Summer, and golf outing in the Summer/Fall.
The UMM sponsors the church picnic, Bowl-a-thon, church projects, local Boy Scout Troop and participate in state and National UMM Seminars. Open to all.
